The greatest investments we make don’t
turn heads on Wall Street. They make a difference closer to home
each time we give from the heart to help make our community a better
place to live. For over 17 years, our roots have been established
in this community and are reflected in our commitment to give back
to it, and to build lasting relationships. As a part of this mission,
we are proud to once again host what has been one of our greatest
achievements: the Conyers FallFest.
Investing in our community is what
leaves an inherent legacy. With children in mind, in 1997, we began
an annual October event that creates an exciting, fun-filled, yet
safe, alternative to Halloween. This year, we extend an open invitation
to you to be a participant, by offering several tax-deductible,
tiered financial sponsorship options that will allow you to be
a recognized part of this occasion. The October 31st Conyers FallFest
is a non-profit event created especially for the enrichment of
the community. By joining together and focusing our efforts, resources
and energy into a structured festival, we will benefit those who
are most important – the children.
In less than five years, Conyers
FallFest attendance has
grown from a respectable beginning of 750 to the culmination of
last year’s event attended by
over 5,000 people.
We attract the attention of Rockdale, Newton, Henry, DeKalb and
other surrounding counties by advertising with local newspapers,
metro publications, radio and television stations, the marquee
of the Conyers Welcome Center, and distribution of printed flyers.
This year, Conyers FallFest has expanded beyond a neighborhood
celebration into an impressive citywide festival. This is a much-anticipated
event, bringing an influx of new visitors each year as its reputation
for safe, family fun spreads throughout the metro area.
